PHOTOGRAPHY STUDIOS &
PHOTOGRAPHERS: We
don't take snap shots and we
don't deliver pictures to you
where you do not look your very
best. Every detail in your
picture is taken into account to
show you at your finest from the
backgrounds we choose, to the
clothing you wear, to your
facial and hand expressions.
Once your gorgeous portraits are
transferred to our computers, we
retouch every image for
beautiful color, contrast and
special effects at no cost to
you.
NATIONAL & INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL: Lance
Oliver Photography is based in
Tallahassee, Florida, but is
available for national and
international photography
assignments. No
destination is too great for us
to travel.
PORTRAIT SESSIONS: Our
photography portrait sessions can be
either in our studio or out on location.
It all depends on what look you're going
for. Studio portraits can be for
Corporate Headshots, Baby portraiture,
Fashion and Modeling, or Fine Art Family
Portraits. On location photo
shoots, on the other hand, are ideal for
Engagement Portraits, Acting or Modeling
Headshots, and Portraits of Family,
Children, and High School Seniors and
Yearbook Photography.
TALLAHASSEE PORTRAIT STUDIO: We
are a professional portrait studio in
Tallahassee and provide a range of
different backgrounds with a variety of
studio lighting to give you amazing
portrait results. From Hollywood
style Glamour to Professional Portraits,
we can shoot any photography styles you
wish.
ON LOCATION PHOTOGRAPHY: If
you prefer to shoot your beautiful
portraits on location, we have many
locations that make great backdrops such
as the Alfred B. Maclay Gardens State
Park, the Dorothy B. Oven Park, St.
Andrews State Park, or the beautiful
Mexico Beach Florida. We love
creating portraits on location because
they offer more variety of backgrounds
to your portraits and a greater deal of
creativity in contrast to studio
portraits.
PORTRAIT CLOTHING: The
clothing you select for your portrait
session should be complementary to the
portrait backgrounds we will be working
in. For most photography
portraits, nothing distracting should be
worn such as stripes on shirts or too
much jewelry. Our goal is to
showcase your unique personality and
soul, not your distracting clothing
items.
 HAIR
AND MAKEUP: Hair
and makeup is not provided.
ADDITIONAL SERVICES: In
addition to our photography, we design
Comp Cards (Composite Cards) and provide
unique Head Shot print designs. A
Comp Card is what a model uses to
promote his/her modeling career and
consists of five images on photo paper
that presents the best look of the
model. We also offer portrait
videography sessions where instead of
creating portraits, we create video
portraits set to music with a beautiful
background.
SCHEDULING A PORTRAIT SESSION: A
photography portrait can be taken any
time of day. On location
assignments are best in the mornings or
late afternoons while a studio portrait
can be done anytime during the day as
long as we have a prearranged
appointment.
BOOKING A PHOTO SHOOT: Please
book us in advance if you desire a
portrait session. This allows us
to have your date and time available to
do your portrait.
